TopDown Approach Reports

The QA TopDown Approach Reports calculations are based on a rolling 4(+) years of Weekly Data (High[s], Low[s], Close[s], Yearly High[s] & Low[s] & Volume[s].

These TopDown Approach Reports should be viewed in the context of their associated QA ScoreCard Reports. The TopDown Reports have fewer, indicator-based, measurements. Therefore, these charts are less sensitive and slower to change from Strongly Bullish to Strongly Bearish, and visa-versa, than the associated QA ScoreCards. When you view these together, or in close proximity, you will see the different timings becoming evident as you compare these charts.

The three (3) major indicators and one (1) scoring accumulators in these charts. These are displayed in the following columns: (from the shortest to the longest lead-times).

• EXIT - Chandelier Exit Indicator

• Moving Average - 43 week Simple Moving Average Indicator

• Bull | Bear - Bull-Bear Indicator

• Overall Score - Scoring Accumulator

Each of these indicators has 6 graduated increments from 0 (Strongly Bearish) to 5 (Strongly Bullish) which uses the following scale:

• 5 - Strongly Bullish

• 4 - Bullish

• 3 - Moderately Bullish

• 2 - Moderately Bearish

• 1 - Bearish

• 0 - Strongly Bearish

The last indicator of interest is the column labels Overall Score. The scoring range is from 0 - 100 which represents the Maximum Percentage Allocation of the associated investment within a particular Master Allocation Portfolio Model.
