Market Gauges

Can you imagine replacing the fuel gauge in your automobile in favor of an indicator light to tell you that you are almost out of gas? Gauges give you a greater sense of awareness of the health, or imminent failure, of a component within a range that is marked as normal. The Market Gauges were designed for the same purpose. They will show you the current status of a market segment, along with a range of Strongly Bullish through Strongly Bearish, and some other features as well.

The Market Gauges are a series of gauges with two indicator arrows and six colors.

• The longer arrow is a long-term indicator

• The shorter arrow is the short-term indicator

• Dark Green - Strongly Bullish

• Medium Dark Green - Moderately Bullish

• Light Green - Bullish

• Yellow - Caution

• Light Red - Moderately Bearish

• Red - Strongly Bearish

The Colored Textual Banners represent an overall - Strongly Bullish to Strongly Bearish - a commentary that represents an overall sentiment of the Charts from which these indicators were distilled.

The Allocation Sections represent the maximum recommended allocation which the associated asset-type would occupy in an asset allocation portfolio (ie. if Commodities represented 10% of your Asset Allocation Strategy, the recommendation would suggest only filling 67% of that 10% allocation, or selling down to that level).

The Trend Section simply indicates the trending direction since the last change date of a particular Market Gauge Indicator (Higher, Lower, or Even).

The Date Section simply indicates the last time there was a change in its associated Market Gauge.
